The International Tea & Technology Expo

Three days of floor time in front of buyers who came to Nairobi specifically to source.

The expo runs alongside the summit and opens fully on day three. It is not a general trade fair — the audience is the delegate list, which means the people walking your stand are the buyers, investors and processors who registered for the forums.

What can be exhibited

  • Class 1 Tea products

Black, green, orthodox, speciality, purple, blended and branded lines. Finished goods and bulk.

  • Class 2 Processing equipment

Withering, rolling, oxidation, drying, sorting, grading and packing machinery.

  • Class 3 Agricultural technologies

Inputs, irrigation, mechanised plucking, soil and yield analytics, traceability systems.

  • Class 4 Logistics services

Freight, warehousing, cold chain, customs and export documentation.

Why exhibit at this one

Most tea trade shows put you in front of the tea trade in general. This one is built around a single corridor — Kenya to China — at a moment when that corridor is unsettled. Kenyan exports to China fell 51% in the first quarter of 2026, while national policy targets a large increase in green and orthodox production and China holds a zero-tariff door open.

If you sell into that gap — machinery that moves a producer from bulk black into orthodox, traceability that satisfies a Chinese importer, freight that shortens the route — the people making those decisions are in the building for three days.
